The birthplace of Volcano Corn

Volcan Arenal, Costa Rica
The Legend...
The birth of Volcano Corn
took place as the mountains were being born out of the sea.
Almighty God was enjoying the magnificent fireworks of the Volcan Arenal one night,
and as He looked below, He saw a multitude of humans and animals looking on, in awe of the sight.
As his children gathered below, the Almighty sought nourishment and a treat to delight his beloved.
Surveying the sweeping fields of corn and sugar cane, The Almighty reached down and gathered a harvest of each and cast them into the Volcano.
As the pressure built, and the mountain burst, popped corn like "little doves" with a light coating of sugar on their wings floated down upon them all.
Everyone loved the delicious "Palomitas Dulces." And thus the legend of Volcano Corn was born.
So, if you are in the right place, at the right time, you too may be able to taste and understand why Volcano Corn is truly a "food of the Gods!"
