We received notice last week for the first time that the Humantics Foundation's corporate status had been temporarily suspended by the State of California. This was due solely for our failing to respond to a Franchise Tax Board request for information from 2003.

Our 'critics' went wild with joy! To see the amount of 'publicity that was given this event, and the corporate spin and re-spin and more spin ...

A reader would think that the Humantics Foundation was a giant non profit whose financial wake is similar to the billions and billions lost in the Enron Fiasco.

Our entire fine was $50.

Thanks for all the love, concern and good wishes surrounding this and all the 'pubicity' it received from those who wish our voice silenced.

We will continue to raise awareness to the dangers of breast implants ... and other related issues.

We greatly appreciate any and all contributions to keep the message of the dangers of breast implants before the public. The recent announcement that the FDA is another mis-step toward approving Mentor Breast Implants has disastrous consequences. They have not been proven 'safe' ... by any definition of the word.

Women deserve better.

In the 10 years since Ilena Rosenthal began researching the incredibly complex, disastrously tainted controversy ... she and the Humantics Foundation have been under attack by the silicone industry and their PR Team ... a 'ratbags' Posse connected with junkscience.com, quackwatch.com,ACSH.org. etc.

Ilena is currently penning  QuackWatchWatch ... shining a light back on the dubious and oft discredited, Quackbuster Team.
